Nominate your favourite walk and make Peterborough Ramblers even more well known

1 September 2024 update

The Ramblers HQ are looking for nominations for your favourite walk – details are here

This is what their notice says…

“Send us a picture of your chosen path, along with why you love it, and you could win a £200 voucher to spend at Cotswold Outdoor. Plus, your path will be displayed on a billboard during National Walking Month 2025 for all to admire.

“And that’s not all: every single entrant will also receive a discount code for 20% off instore at Cotswold Outdoor!”

Now I have to admit the thought of a favourite walk did make me ponder for a few moments, as I really have loved so many of the walks we have been on.  But then I thought, hang on, there are a lot of details of past walks on our website.  I mean there were 10 articles on walks in August alone listed on the home page

These walk reviews cover the last three years (there is even an index to the 2021 walk reviews here) and if you want to see details of any particular walk just use the search box top right.

Here are some more details from the Ramblers official website….

How the competition works

Once you have a photograph of the path you would like to nominate, upload it and tell us why you’ve chosen it. Then hey presto, you’ve entered the competition.

nominate your path

All entrants will receive a confirmation email with a discount code to use at Cotswold Outdoor.

The competition will be open until 23:59 on Sunday 8 September. Our team of expert judges will then whittle down the entries to a shortlist of eight, one for each of our eight locations: North East England, North West England, Midlands, East England, South West England, South East England, Wales and Scotland.

Those eight will be put out to a public vote and the winner will be crowned Britain’s Favourite Path. Good luck!
