The Financial Plan…

The AGM
At the 2026 AGM of the Ramblers, the following motions were discussed….
- The proposed Governance modernisation was not successful in achieving 72.4% of yes votes, falling short of the 75% requirement. The debate indicated a level of concern that the Governance proposals should have been considered as separate Policy sections and not as a single combined proposal Document.
- Ramblers will review the process of allocation of members to Groups and/or Areas – currently based solely on members’ postcode.
- Walk Leaders to walker ratios approved as currently in the Handbook guidance.
