On the Pickworth Walk…

On our Pickworth / Clipsham walk today we walked on well maintained paths. Then we observed this lady wizzing along on her mower on a parallel path.
We stopped and chatted to her, so found out that she’s the Footpath Officer for Rutland County Council.
She recces the paths earlier in the year, then goes out with her ride-on mower to keep them trim. She was pleased to see us as well and find out how much her work is appreciated.
