Peterborough Ramblers Sunday Walkers: 22 May 2022

Peterborough Ramblers Sunday walkers.

You may have noted that we often have pictures of our walks on a Thursday, and I am delighted to be able to include today a picture and some notes from one of the group’s Sunday walks.

A brief note about the walk is below, but if I may, could I ask any walkers who go on Sunday walks to take a camera and take a few “shots” (as I believe they are called in the trade) so that on this site we can give the Sunday walkers the coverage they deserve.

Below are the notes from Marja Dolby for this particular walk…

On Sunday morning 22 May, 17 walkers (including some new faces) met in Market Deeping for a circular 6-mile walk.

After a little bit of road walking, we cut cross country to West Deeping, returning via Maxey Mill and the bank of the river Welland.

We had beautiful weather, walked miles through open countryside and enjoyed the good company.

Thank you June for leading such a pleasant walk.
