The Castor Walk August 2024: and a question for everyone

The pictures from the Castor Walk on Sunday 25th August 2024 are alongside these comments.  They were taken by John B.

Wiki tells me that Castor is a village about 4 miles west of Peterborough city centre.

It was considered part of  Northamptonshire until 1888 and then Huntingdon and Peterborough from 1965 to 1974, when it became part of Cambridgeshire.

I must admit I had not appreciated until today that villages could be transferred rather like football players.

But have no fear for I am not going to try and write one of my commentaries on this walk but will let you enjoy the pictures, and hope instead that you can write in with an explanation as to what the final picture is!
