\"\"As is the tradition on events such as this, we might pause partway along the way just to make sure that no one had been lost and that the path we were walking along was still the right path.<\/p>\n

It was, and indeed if more about Bourne Woods is what you wish to find, the Woods have their own website, which you can find here.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"Now, of course, Ramblers are not the only life forms that can be found on our walks, for there were a number of horses around as well, guarding their kingdom and making sure that we all stuck to the regular paths, as of course we, as law-abiding walkers, always do.<\/p>\n

I must say however, that I was a bit \"\"concerned about this particular member of the gang, Equus Ferus Caballus, that we passed en route<\/em> as it seemed to be of the Equs Stagtionarius breed, thus takking no notice of at all, as we passed by, discussing that, this and other things.\u00a0 On guard is how it stood, and so remained.<\/p>\n

And it did strike me a little later that maybe it was on guard over the \"\" multiple provision of power supply that the resident animals seem to oversee.<\/p>\n

I mean to say I am all for keeping the animal kingdom warm and cosy at night, but this much electricity really did seem to be a little over the top for the number of anglicus equus that we came across.<\/p>\n

After all, surely they can trot around a bit to keep warm and do things like that, can’t they?<\/p>\n

But such questions are as nought compared to the whole walk in the woodlands, which I thoroughly enjoyed.\u00a0 Another part of the area in which I live that I did not know previously, but now witnessed.\u00a0 And that for me is a significant part of what it is about.<\/p>\n
