as we international travelers are wont to say.\u00a0 Walkers were of course advised to take particular care.<\/p>\n<p>And indeed we lent a hand as members of the Peterborough Ramblers ensemble <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3994 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/nasswalk3-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"445\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/nasswalk3-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/nasswalk3-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/nasswalk3-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/nasswalk3-1536x1152.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/nasswalk3-2048x1536.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 445px) 100vw, 445px\" \/>are always wont to do when passing by.\u00a0 \u00a0Here you can see one of our merry band in the midst of restoring an 11th century sign that allowed passing troops following the great king from one venue to another.\u00a0 \u00a0A red sign at 90 degrees to the pole means do not invade until after lunch.\u00a0 This sign tilted in the mode of a warrior who has had a little too much mead of an afternoon is known as a pole vippet.\u00a0 And if you don&#8217;t believe me you can look it up, because I am jolly well fed up by walkers saying to me that the &#8220;last piece&#8221; as<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3995 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Nasswalk4-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Nasswalk4-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Nasswalk4-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Nasswalk4-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Nasswalk4-1536x1152.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/peterboroughramblers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Nasswalk4-2048x1536.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 443px) 100vw, 443px\" \/> they are wont to call each exposition of historic interest, was &#8220;a real corker&#8221;.\u00a0 I do not write &#8220;real corkers&#8221;
