This was the wettest walk I’ve been on with Peterborough Ramblers but despite this we had a fair few hearty souls battling the elements, and as these pictures show, sometimes there was blue sky.<\/p>\n

The reality was that other times there was not blue sky, and quite reasonably Jon put his camera away as the heaven opened.<\/p>\n

But it was a most memorable time nonetheless, and the pub afterwards were very happy to let us remove a level or two of clothing and sip the hot coffees near the heating.<\/p>\n
